The Brown Glacier is a glacier on Heard Island in the southern Indian Ocean . It is located immediately south of Round Hill on the east side of the island and flows into the Brown Lagoon .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named the glacier after the Australian biologist K. G. Brown, who worked on Heard in 1951 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions .
