Bruce J. Hawker is a Franco-Belgian comic book series published between 1976 and 1996 .

As a young captain in the British Navy, Bruce J. Hawker is ambushed by the Spaniards. With a few loyal followers, he can escape captivity. Although his family and fiancée have turned away from him, he tries to rehabilitate himself.

After Howard Flynn , William Vance drew his second seafaring series. André-Paul Duchâteau took over the lyrics in 1985. The series was published between 1976 and 1977 in Femme d'Aujourd'hui and in 1979 in the Belgian and from 1979 to 1991 in the French edition of Tintin . The first episode was changed a lot when it was published again. Le Lombard published the albums and the complete edition. The German edition came from Carlsen und Kult., The two-volume complete edition from Splitter .
