Bruce Reitherman

Bruce Phillip Reitherman (born September 15, 1955 in Burbank , California ) is an American cinematographer , screenwriter , producer and also voiced the original versions of the Disney characters Mowgli ( The Jungle Book ) and Christopher Robin ( Winnie the Pooh ).

Life

As the son of Disney director Wolfgang Reitherman , Reitherman received the aforementioned speaking roles in Disney films as a child. His brothers Richard and Robert also got a speaking role in The Witch and the Wizard .

Today Reitherman is primarily responsible for the camera work, but also works as a producer and screenwriter for TV nature documentaries. In 1998 he received the Emmy together with Steve Downer, David Fortney, Robert Fulton, Bob Landis and Neil Rettig for the episode Denali: Alaska's Great Wilderness from the US documentary series The Living Edens .
