Brunnhaus Nagling

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nagling Brunnhaus is a former Brunnhaus in Weißbach on the alpine road of the brine pipeline from Bad Reichenhall to Traunstein .

In addition to the Nagling and Grub wells in Weißbach, there are other wells - Fager and Seebichl - in Bad Reichenhall .

The Brunnhaus and its connected buildings such as the elevated tank, the riser and the sky ladder are under monument protection and are registered in the Bavarian list of monuments under the number D-1-72-131-37 .

history

The building is marked with the year 1816 and replaced the previous buildings in the same place during the modernization of the brine pipeline by Georg Friedrich von Reichenbach . By using Reichenbach's more modern water column machine, it was now possible to overcome 104 meters of altitude difference instead of 54 at the Nagling Brunnhaus. The Brunnhaus Lettenklause was omitted.

description

The Nagling Brunnhaus is a plastered building with two floors and a crooked roof . The shingled tower of the pumping station is connected to the main building by a ground floor building. The elevated tank, a tower-like hipped roof structure made of wood, is located a good 100 meters above the well. The system also includes the riser and the staircase, which is called the sky ladder .

location

The Brunnhaus Nagling is located at the western end of Weißbach an der Alpenstraße , directly on Inzeller Straße ( B305 ).
