Bruno Paulmier

Bruno Maurice Paulmier (born March 27, 1958 ) is a French officer and Vice Admiral in the French Navy .

Life

In 1977 Paulmier went to the Navy and attended the French Naval School . The completion of this training was in 1979/80 the trip on the Jeanne d'Arc (R 97) . In 1980 he went to the frigate Aconit . From 1982 to 1984 he was on the Tourville and from 1989 to 1991 on the De Grasse .

From 1984 to 1986 he attended ENSTA ParisTech and graduated in electronics and system design. 1986 to 1989 he was a manager at the fleet in Toulon . From 1991 to 93 he was the commander of the Commandant Bouan (F797) . He then had a staff position in Brest (Finistère) . From 1994 he attended Naval War College for one year . Until 1998 he was again on the staff in Brest. In 1998 he took over the command of the Vendémiaire . From 1999 to 2001 he took on staff duties and became the commanding officer on the Tourville. After this last voyage at sea, he took on leadership roles in the Navy. Paulmier has been responsible for naval security issues in the French Ministry of Defense since 2013 . He is deputy commander in the Allied Maritime Command .

He is married and has three children.
