Bruno Schurer
Bruno Schurer (born June 16, 1947 in Riedlingen , Germany ) is a German business educator. He is professor emeritus for business and vocational education at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz .
Life
Bruno Schurer began studying German and English at the University of Tübingen in 1966 . In 1968 he went to Cologne , where he studied German and social sciences. A year later he began his studies at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne, where he received his doctorate in 1977. Until 1985 he was a research assistant. In 1983 he was granted the license to teach business and vocational education from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne, and two years later he was appointed professor at the Institute for Business, Business and Social Education. From 1989 until his retirement in June 2010 he was o.Univ.Prof. for vocational and business education at the JKU.
