Bruno Stanek

Bruno Leopold Stanek (born November 9, 1943 in Rorschach ) is a Swiss space expert and television presenter.

After studying mathematics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology , which he completed with a doctorate in 1971, Stanek began working as a freelance mathematician and writer. He was best known as a scientific expert in space travel after commenting on the television broadcast of the moon landing in 1969 on Swiss television . After numerous appearances in live broadcasts on major space events, he received his own series in 1975 and 1976 under the title News from Space .

When the Swiss Claude Nicollier flew into space three times from 1992 to 1996 , Stanek experienced a comeback as a popular space expert. In addition, on accompanied trips he took interested parties through various space centers in the USA and contributed to the design of the space pavilion in the Mystery Park .
