Bruno Zwicker

Bruno Zwicker (born February 17, 1907 in Knínice u Boskovic ; died 1944 in Auschwitz concentration camp ) was a Czechoslovak sociologist and a victim of the Holocaust .

He attended the secondary school in Boskovice until 1926 and then studied sociology at the University of Brno until 1930 . In 1933 he was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD. He was a student of Inocenc Arnošt Bláha .

Bruno Zwicker was a representative of the Brno Sociological School.

He was deported to the Theresienstadt concentration camp on March 29, 1942 by the German occupiers during the Second World War . There he worked closely with Valtr Eisinger, the head of the boys' home, and organized illegal lessons in the ghetto.

On September 28, 1944 he was deported from Theresienstadt to the Auschwitz concentration camp , where he was murdered.
