Bucher Beteiligungen is the Grießen- based German division of the listed Swiss conglomerate Bucher Industries . The group essentially consists of Bucher Hydraulics . Other important companies in the Bucher portfolio are Jetter AG , the German and Italian companies of Emhart Glass and the German sales companies of Kuhn .

Bucher Hydraulics

Bucher Hydraulics develops and produces drive and control technology in the field of mobile and industrial hydraulics. The range includes products for mobile and industrial hydraulics , elevator hydraulics, hydraulic drives for high-voltage switches and height-adjustable workbenches . Components include hydraulic pumps , hydraulic motors , valves , cylinders , hydraulic power units , electronics and corresponding system solutions.

history

The machine factory Johann Bucher Guyer Griessen was founded in 1923 in Grießen, today a district of Klettgau , Waldshut district . The company had existed in Switzerland since 1807. In 1952, the German company was converted into a limited partnership , later into a GmbH. From the mid-1970s, and especially from the mid-1990s, the company expanded into foreign markets through the establishment of production and sales branches and corporate takeovers. It is now present with its own subsidiaries in France, Austria, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Taiwan, the USA, Turkey, China and India. The Italian company Hidroirma (1994), Beringer Hydraulik in Neuheim , Switzerland (1996), Hydrotechnik in Frutigen , Switzerland (1997), Dingkind in Taiwan (1997), Truninger AG in Solothurn , Switzerland (2000), Monarch Hydraulics were taken over in the USA (2007) and Command Controls (2008), also in the USA.

In 1996 the Bucher Hydraulics division was set up with management in Klettgau-Grießen. In 2001 Bucher Hydraulics became the umbrella brand .
