Buchhof (Stein am Kocher)

The Buchhof (formerly also called Oberbuch ) is a hamlet that grew out of a historic farm estate and belongs to Stein am Kocher , a district of Neuenstadt am Kocher , in the Heilbronn district in northern Baden-Württemberg .

history

In the 14th century, abbesses of the Billigheim monastery owned the Buchhof. The hamlet belonging to Stein am Kocher was badly destroyed in the last days of the war in 1945. In Buchhof is one of book Höfer farmers donated and built 1909-10 Lady Chapel .

Directly to the west of the Buchhof is the Hofgut Grollenhof , formerly also known as Klein-Buch , which was located on the Falkensteiner mark and is now part of the Oedheim community .
