The bay of Zea ( Greek Λιμένας Ζέας Liménas Zéas ) is a bay on the Greek Mediterranean coast near Piraeus .
During the Summer Olympics in Athens in 1896 , the bay was the venue for swimming competitions . A sea and a marina are located in the bay. In ancient times it was the largest military port here.
