María Concepción Balboa Buika (born May 11, 1972 in Palma , Spain; mostly known under the stage name Concha Buika or Buika ) is a Spanish singer, composer and actress .

Life

Your family comes from Equatorial Guinea . She grew u. a. in close proximity to Gitanos ( gypsies ). Their music is a mixture of flamenco with soul , jazz and funk . She also sings copla andaluza .

As part of the Vienna Jazz Festival , she made a guest appearance at the Vienna State Opera in July 2014 .
