Bundu is a small town ( Notified Area ) in the Indian state of Jharkhand .
Bundu is 35 km southeast of Ranchi , the capital of Jharkhand. The national highway NH 33 (Ranchi - Jamshedpur ) leads past Bundu. Tourist attractions are the Surya Mandir and the Dassam waterfalls .
In the 2011 census, the population was 21,054, in 2001 it was 18,505.
