Buraca is a freguesia (parish) in the concelho ( district ) of Amadora . 16,295 inhabitants live in an area of 1.7 km² (as of June 30, 2011). The population density is therefore 9736 inhabitants per km².

economy
In the extreme south of the municipality is one of the largest shopping streets of Grande Lisboa, it also extends to the municipalities of Alfragide and especially Carnaxide in the Oeiras district .
