Burg is part of the municipality of Ettenstatt in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen with about 70 inhabitants.

The village has almost grown together with Ettenstatt. Just east of Burg, the Bruckbach flows into the Felchbach , which flows past the place to the south. Larger places in the area are Ellingen , Pleinfeld and Weißenburg in Bavaria . State road 2389 runs north .

To the southeast of the village is a medieval castle stable . To the north there are traces of settlement from prehistoric times. The only architectural monument in Burg is a farmhouse with a gable roof with the address Burg 21 from the 18th century.
