Stone gutter
Rohrbach is best known for the Steinerne Rinne , located 500 meters southeast of the village . This is about 60 meters long and up to a meter high. It was formed through geological processes, but was partly artificially bricked up and maintained. The stone gully is designated as a natural monument and by the Bavarian State Office for the Environment as geotope 577R004 . See also the list of geotopes in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district . The area is easily accessible by a wooden walkway. In the stone gutter overcomes Limes trail , a section of the German Limes trail , the eaves of the Frankish Alb .
Young stone gutter
About 200 meters away are the Rotschlucht and the Junge Steinerne Rinne , which also belong to the geotope 577R004. The approximately 20 meter long channel is in the process of being created and is more like a sinter terrace.
