The castle Alps is an Outbound Turmhügelburg (Motte) in the municipality Alps (Castle Road) in Wesel in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The castle, which was owned by Heinrich von Alpen and was pledged to the von Neuenahr family, was a moth formerly protected by moats with possibly two outer castles and was first mentioned in documents around 1200. The castle was inhabited until the 18th century. Made uninhabitable by an earthquake in 1758, the buildings eventually crumbled. In 1809 the moth was removed and the material used to build a Chausseestrasse (Burgstrasse) laid out under French occupation . This road cuts the western part of Mottenhügel, now a castle stable.
