description

The Winkelbau, now used exclusively as living space, was originally an agricultural property that combined living quarters, barn and stables. The somewhat recessed wing (Salmgasse 9), in the core probably from the 16th century, has a two-storey bay window with a high gable on the Rhine side . The gable consists of two semicircles standing on top of each other. The right part of the Winkelbau (Salmgasse 11) was added in 1717. The storey building consists of two half-timbered floors, with the first floor protruding slightly, and two attics. It has the typical decorative forms of the construction period: half men on the corner posts and a whole man in the middle .
