The castle Diemantstein is an Outbound hilltop castle in the district Diemantstein the city Bissingen in the district of Dillingen in Bavaria .
history
The Lords of the Stain or of the Stain emerged from a sideline of the Lords of Fronhofen - Hohenburg . They are first documented in 1236. Before 1236 they built a castle they called the Stain. Since this castle name appeared several times, they added the personal name Diemo to distinguish it.
