The castle Emersleben even lock Emersleben called, is a castle rest in to Halberstadt belonging village Emersleben (Bauernreihe 35) in the district of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the building is listed under registration number 094 00319 as an architectural monument and also as a ground monument .

The round castle was first mentioned in 1248 and was owned by the Corvey Monastery in 1253 .

From the castle Emersleben the five-story are only the keep , a late Gothic house with stair tower and remains of the perimeter wall preserved. The entrance portal comes from the former Gröningen Castle .

Today the former castle houses the "Stork's Nest Restaurant".
