Kreuzberg Castle

The castle Kreuzberg is an Outbound hill castle (Motte) on a castle hill 400 meters east of the Church of the municipality Ummendorf in the district of Biberach in Baden-Württemberg .

The motte , presumably built by the Lords of Ummendorf, was mentioned in 1357 and was already in ruins in 1525 . Later owners were the lords of Freyberg-Steusslingen and the lords of Schellenberg. The castle hill and the neck moat are still preserved from the former castle complex .
