The castle Niederschopfheim is an Outbound hilltop castle at 208  m above sea level. NN on the Zixen- or Zizenberg in the district of Niederschopfheim in the municipality of Hohberg in the Ortenaukreis in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was built by the knights of Schopfenheim in the 11th or 12th century and destroyed in 1534. Other owners were the Lords of Windeck and the Knights of Bach. Nothing has been preserved from the castle complex, which cannot be precisely located.

In 2010, a replica of a castle ruin was built on the listed hilltop of the Zixenberg , which resulted in a conflict between the lord of the castle and the monument protection authority.
