The castle Oberotterbach is an Outbound castle , probably a hill fort in Oberotterbach in South County Wine Route in Rhineland-Palatinate .
According to local tradition, the castle of the Lords of Otterbach is said to have stood northwest of the village on the "Closenberg" (monastery mountain) and is said to have been lost with all possessions due to a feud with the Speyer.
Another source mentions a “Schlössl”, a late baroque palace built in the second half of the 18th century .
