Schefoldseck Castle

The castle Schefoldseck is an Outbound hilltop castle on 580  m above sea level. NN 3200 meters north of Winterstettenstadt and 700 meters south of the chapel in the Grodt district of the municipality of Ingoldingen in the Biberach district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was probably built by the Lords of Grodt in the 13th century, they were mentioned in 1267. Konrad von Moosheim was also the former owner. The castle hill and an arched moat are still preserved from the former castle complex on the edge of the slope .
