Seekirch Castle

The castle Seekirch is an Outbound lowland castle at 600  m above sea level. NHN about five kilometers north-northeast of Bad Buchau , northeast of the church in the Seekirch community in the Biberach district in Baden-Württemberg .

history

The castle, built by the Lords of Seekirchen, Ministeriale of the Counts of Veringen, was first mentioned in 1373, and in 1390 it fell into disrepair. A castle-like country house called Burgberg was rebuilt in its place, but was destroyed a short time later during the Thirty Years War .

Nothing has been preserved from the former castle complex.
