The ruins of Solotyj Potik Castle ( Ukrainian Замок у Золотому Потоці Samok u Solotomu Potozi / ) are located in the then Polish city ​​of Potok Złoty and today's urban-type Solotyj Potik settlement in western Ukraine .

The modern ruins that can be seen were built in the 1610-1620s on the initiative of Maria Amalia Mohylanka (cousin of Petro Mohyla , Metropolitan of Kiev , Galicia and all of Russia ) and her husband Stefan Potocki ( magnate , voivode and starost ) built. The castle was besieged by the Turks in 1672.
