Tiefenbach Castle

The Tiefenbach Castle is the ruin of a hilltop castle at 655  m above sea level. NN high rock outcrop at the Untertiefenbacher Hof in the Reichenbach district of the town of Hornberg in the Ortenaukreis in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was built by the Lords of Hornberg and mentioned once in 1423. Two meter high wall remains of a square tower are still preserved from the former castle complex.

A second escort tower of the Hornbergs, Gutach Castle , is located on the Turmerberg near Gutach .
