Jarmil Burghauser , actually Jarmil Michael Mokrý , (born October 21, 1921 in Písek , Czechoslovakia, † February 19, 1997 in Prague ) (occasionally used pseudonym: Michal Hajku) was a Czech composer, conductor and musicologist.

For a long time his work was oriented towards the late Romantic musical language and includes operas, oratorios and cantatas, chamber music and vocal compositions. At the beginning of the 1960s he increasingly dealt with dodecaphony and serial music and developed an individual style in the orchestral work Sieben Reliefs and the opera Most (Die Brücke) , which he himself described as harmonious serialism .

Burghauser published the thematic catalog of the works of Antonín Dvořák and was also significantly involved in the critical complete edition of the works of Leoš Janáček .
