Burgi Heckmair (born January 2, 1976 in Tegernsee ) is a former German snowboarder .
Career
Burgi Heckmair made her debut in the Snowboard World Cup at Giant Slalom in Sestriere on December 6, 1996 , where she finished fourth. At the 1997 World Championships in San Candido , she finished 15th in the giant slalom. She achieved her only podium finish on January 9, 1998 in Grächen with a second place. A month later, she started in the giant slalom race at the Winter Olympics in Nagano . However, in her first run she crashed and was eliminated.
