Burgmannshof Lübbecke
The former Burgmannshof is a listed secular building on Markt 29 in the East Westphalian town of Lübbecke in the Minden-Lübbecke district in North Rhine-Westphalia . He originally served as Burgmannshof for Burgmannen the nearby country castle Reineberg .
History and architecture
The plastered mansion with three stand cores on the western side of the eaves is surrounded by a curtain wall. The gables under the hipped roof are half- timbered. The portal in the east can be reached via an outside staircase and bears the year 1735. The southern half-timbered store stands on a broken stone base, the upper floors protrude. It is currently used as an exhibition opportunity for the Kunstverein. The Burgmannshof is - next to the Gapendorfschen Hof in the Rechtsstrasse - the last of the former 16 yards of the service aristocracy in Lübbecke.
The building owned by the von der Recke family served as the seat of the Lübbecke district in the second half of the 19th century .
The bell of the Catholic Church in Striegau has been hanging in the wall of the Burgmannshof since 1986 .
