Burgopak
The Burgopak is a packaging system that supplements a folding box with a dynamic sliding system. The patented sliding mechanism is also used for advertising media .
principle
The Burgopak consists of the three elements pull, body and pop. The body forms the outer shell and the separating element for the moving elements pop and pull. The movement of pop and pull is linked. If the pull is mostly pulled out from the right side, the pop on the left moves on the same axis in the opposite direction out of the body. The packaging closes when the outer elements are pushed back into the body.
The power transmission between pull and pop takes place via a plastic band, which is directed over the inner part of the body and with which the two elements are connected. Technically speaking, pop and pull are interchangeable. The Burgopak is available in different sizes depending on the packaged goods , from credit card format to larger packaging .
Variations
- Product packaging: The elements pop and pull consist of product compartments (with or without flap) for storing and protecting the product as well as its accessories and instructions. Examples are the packaging for Motorola cell phones.
- CD- / DVD-Pak: Pop and Pull can be used as required. Equipped with a tray for a CD / DVD, a booklet pocket or a booklet stuck directly onto a card. Burgopaks for several CDs / DVDs are also possible by combining them. Examples: Radiohead , Paul McCartney
- Blister-Pak: The pull consists of a card (with or without fanfold ) on which the consumer information can be found. The pop is a tablet blister . Examples: Ibuprofen , Paracetamol , Rennie-ICE.
- Sim- / Chip-Card-Pak: Pop with embedded card in credit card format.
- Advertising mailers: The sliding principle is also used for mailers, whereby the elements pop and pull do not contain a product compartment, but usually consist of an information card.
The company has developed a production line in collaboration with Bosch-Sigpack .
The Burgopaks own sliding mechanism and further developments are protected by patents .
