The Burgseilbahn Bad Lauterberg in the Harz low mountain range is a double chairlift opened in 1954 on and on the Hausberg (approx.  420  m above sea  level ) in Bad Lauterberg in the Harz ( Göttingen district , Lower Saxony ). It is located within the Upper Harz in the Harz Nature Park .

The cable car was opened on August 4, 1954 and leads from the valley station (approx.  292  m above sea  level ), which is located near the church square in the city center , west-northwest up to the mountain station near the Hausberg mountain near the Hausberg mountain restaurant (approx.  403  m above sea level ). At a maximum gradient of 63%, it overcomes one of the steepest double chairlifts in Germany, with a height difference of around 440 m and a difference in altitude of around 111 m. It was renovated from 2000 to 2001.
