Burkhardt Röper
Burkhardt Röper (born April 13, 1915 in Jena ; † July 9, 1991 in Aachen ) was a German economist and university professor .
Life
Röper was the son of the neurologist and politician Erich Röper . He studied from 1937 to 1941 at the University of Hamburg economics, the study graduated as Master of Economics , and in 1946 a doctorate . His habilitation also took place in 1949 at the University of Hamburg. On August 1, 1954, he was appointed full professor for economics and business studies at the TH Aachen and at the same time appointed director of the Institute for Economics. From 1967 to 1969 he was dean of the Philosophical Faculty.
Röper retired in 1983 .
