Business center

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As a business or office center is known buildings and building complexes in which a larger number of under one roof offices and conference rooms located. For this purpose, services related to office operations are offered. Business centers are usually located in large cities, at exhibition centers , at larger airports and in central city locations.

The differently sized office spaces in the business centers are partly equipped and operated by specialized office service companies with the appropriate infrastructure (office furniture, telecommunications and internet connections, partly also computers, etc.) and rented out to other companies for a longer or shorter period of time leased . If necessary, the required office staff or specialized staff will be made available by the minute / hour (secretarial service, telephone and typing service, translator). By making use of office space in business centers via an office service, a company does not have to maintain its own infrastructure of this type (or at least to a lesser extent) all the time ( outsourcing ). Such a lean corporate infrastructure is particularly advantageous in the case of very short-term and only temporarily required peak demand (for example, conferences or during trade fairs outside the normal company locations) or in the startup phase of young companies with little capital (for the latter see also: start-up center ).
