Ueli Ackermann

Ueli Ackermann (born December 14, 1957 in Mels , Switzerland ) is a Swiss cabaret artist , author , director and teacher in Basel .

Life

Ackermann graduated from drama school in Bern . In 1982 he founded the theater cabaret Sauce Claire together with Raphael Bachmann , which existed until 2000. Over twenty full-length satirical programs followed, with appearances in Switzerland, Austria and Germany.

In 2000 Ueli Ackermann was the initiator, co-founder and project manager of the ensemble “La Satire continue” with the productions Zytdruck, Wachtmeister Wachter and Herzlich Wirkommen!

As an author, Ackermann wrote cabaret programs, satirical programs for Swiss television and radio DRS as well as plays. Since 1990 Ueli Ackermann has also worked as a director in theater and satire productions as well as short and training films. In 2006/2007 he directed the movie Welthund .
