Swiss Small Art Prize

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Swiss Cabaret Prize goes back to the initiative of the Kultursoufflé Thun association and was first awarded in 1993 under the name "Goldener Tunfisch". KTV ATP later took over the award and has been awarding it under its name ever since. The prize honors a person or a group for their entire work. In 2015 the prize was included in the Swiss Theater Awards and is now being awarded by the Federal Office of Culture . It is endowed with CHF 30,000 for an individual and CHF 50,000 for a group. A nomination committee of the KTV ATP proposes three nominees to the Federal Jury for Theater. The theater jury will select the main prize from these. The nominations are each endowed with CHF 5,000. The Swiss Cabaret Prize is announced and awarded at the opening of the Swiss Artists' Exchange in Thun.
