The Migros Culture Percentage is the cultural promotion program of the Swiss retail company Migros , which Gottlieb Duttweiler and his wife Adele Duttweiler-Bertschi included in the Migros statutes in 1957. It promotes education , culture and social cohesion and aims at quality, professionalism, diversity and breadth.

In Duttweiler's sense, the Federation of Migros Cooperatives (MGB) and the regional Migros cooperatives commit to making an annual contribution to the Migros Culture Percentage. This is calculated on the basis of sales and is also paid in the event of a decline in retail business.

The Migros Culture Percentage is based on 15 theses by Adele and Gottlieb Duttweiler and the statutes of the MGB. It gives the population broad access to culture and education. The main pillars of the Migros Culture Percentage are institutions in the fields of culture, society, education, leisure and business. The Migros culture percentage is made up of one percent of the wholesale sales of the MGB and half a percent of the retail sales of the cooperatives.

At the delegates' meeting on May 11, 1957, the revised statutes of the MGB and the new agreement between the MGB and the cooperatives were unanimously approved. This created a new basis in which the ideal, social and cultural ideas of Gottlieb Duttweiler in the Migros community are anchored. The contract now includes the commitment to Migros' ideas, the theses of the donors and the culture percentage. Hans Munz was appointed President of the Administration. At the delegates' meeting in 2018 it was decided that in future the contributions from the sales of the online specialist stores should also flow into the culture percentage.
