The Buttress Nunatak is a 2175 m high nunatak in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Quartermain Mountains belonging Wilkniss Mountains it projects the head end of on the east side Creagh Glacier on.
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1989 because a rock spur (English buttress ) extends to its summit on its east side .
