The Byteclub GmbH is an IT company group with headquarters in Hamburg , which was founded in January 2017 as a merger of Telco Land GmbH and Comspot GmbH. The group's focus is on the four areas of consumer electronics , IT solutions, digital education and IT Alliance.

Companies

The two companies Telcoland GmbH and Comspot GmbH existed independently of each other for over 20 years. Although both were competitors as official Apple Premium Resellers, the two owners Mathias Harms (formerly Telcoland) and Michael Hencke (formerly Comspot) always maintained good contact with each other. The two companies merged in 2017. As a result of the merger to form Byteclub GmbH , the group has more than 260 employees at 14 locations.

Brands

Under the umbrella company Byteclub GmbH there are currently eight own brands that specialize in different business areas and target groups from the IT sector:

  • Telcoland Mobilfunk operates several Vodafone Professional Stores. The subsidiary specializes in business solutions for mobile communications, landline networks and the Internet.
  • With 16 stores and 7 repair hubs, Comspot is one of the largest Apple premium resellers in Germany. Since the merger between Comspot GmbH and Telcoland GmbH, Comspot has focused on the sale of Apple products and the associated service. Comspot is a certified Apple Service Provider and, through appropriately certified technicians, also offers a repair service for all Apple products as well as free workshops in the individual stores . Other products from other brands such as Microsoft or Adobe Inc. are offered in the online shop . The range is aimed primarily at digital lifestyle customers.
  • SHIFTER is a pure online shop for consumer electronics from premium manufacturers. The focus is on a smart shopping experience with, for example, time-limited offers ("Deal of the Week", etc.) or specific content in the form of themed worlds.
  • The Gesellschaft für Digitale Bildung mbH is a system-independent solution provider at three German locations that supports educational institutions, public and private companies and public administration with digitization . In addition to being equipped with the right equipment, training courses for teachers are also offered and awareness-raising work on the subject of digital education is carried out.
  • CPN is a network of independent Apple retailers and Apple system houses in Germany. The network supports the CPN partners, among other things, in day-to-day business and in advertising. Within the network, 85 partners operate at 125 locations across Germany. The partners also remain completely independent as part of the network.
  • ATTEND IT-Service specializes in IT infrastructure and solutions for small businesses and corporations.
  • DESK7 is a system integrator and service provider who takes care of topics such as Apple Business Integration, Cloud, Next Gen Security, Networks and VOIP for its customers.

Products / portfolio

With its eight brands and subsidiaries, Byteclub GmbH covers both products and services for all IT areas. In the multi-channel hardware and software are marketed and offered IT solutions and support services. Customers include private and commercial customers as well as educational institutions and public institutions.
