Cándido Fabré

Cándido Fabré (born September 10, 1957 in San Luis (Santiago de Cuba) ) is a Cuban musician , songwriter and singer , who is famous for his improvisational skills.

He became known in 1983 as a member of the Charanga Original de Manzanillo , for which he played the hits Coge el camarón , Soy cubano, soy de Oriente , A la hora que me llamen voy , Guayabita del Pinar and ¿Qién ha visto por ahí mi sombrero de Yarey? wrote. In 1993 he started his own business with Cándido Fabré y su Banda .

His over 1000 compositions have been covered by Orquesta Aragon , Los Van Van , Grupo Manguaré, Issac Delgado , Ritmo Oriental and Los Karachi, outside of Cuba by Celia Cruz , Oscar D'León and "El Canario" .
