Life

She was the widow of Aldi-Nord founder Theo Albrecht . She had great influence on the corporate empire through sharing control over two of the three foundations that Aldi-Nord owned with her son Theo Albrecht junior . The third foundation, called the "Jakob" foundation, was under the control of her second son, Berthold Albrecht , who died in 2012.

Cäcilie Albrecht herself died in November 2018. According to the report, she instructed in her will that none of them should have a future in the group.
