Cédric Hengbart (born July 13, 1980 in Falaise ) is a former French football player .

Club career

Hengbart comes from the youth team of the amateur club USON Mondeville. There he played until 2001 in the Championnat de France Amateur (fourth division). Then the defender moved to the then second division SM Caen and immediately established himself as a regular player. He played for the Normans for seven years and twice made promotion from Ligue 2 to Ligue 1 (2004 and 2007). On August 7, 2004 he made his first division debut against FC Istres . For the 2008/09 season Hengbart moved to the first division competitor AJ Auxerre . Five years later he joined AC Ajaccio .

In the summer of 2014, he switched to Kerala Blasters FC in India . Six months later, he briefly went back to his hometown club USON Mondeville to switch to the Indian Super League again in the summer . First he played for NorthEast United FC and then again for Kerala Blasters FC.

From January to June 2017 he was under contract with Mosta FC in Malta and then retired from his career.
