Cédric Mongha Ngonde Nabe (born June 16, 1983 ) is a former Swiss athlete . He is the third fastest Swiss 100 meter runner of all time.

Life

Mongha and Mayani Nabe's son grew up in Geneva. He played football in his youth, but then focused entirely on athletics. In 2004 Nabe went to the USA as a student . This year he ran the 100-meter run in 10.29 s, which was the U23 Swiss record for him. Nabe did not come close to this time in the following two years.

In 2007 he ran over 60 meters in 6.67 s Swiss indoor season best, over 100 meters he ran a time of 10.34 s. In 2009 he set a new personal best of 10.28 s and thus the limit for the World Athletics Championships in Berlin . In addition, he was the first Swiss champion over 100 meters.

In 2011, Nabe reached the finals at the European Indoor Championships in Paris in the 60-meter run with a new personal best. After Nabe had come close to his personal best in May with a time of 10.30 s, he was banned for one year retrospectively from June 22, 2011 in July because he had not complied with his reporting obligation under the doping regulations three times. The International Sports Court extended the ban to 18 months. In early 2013, Nabe announced his resignation.

Nabe lives in Florida . There he has been working as an IT consultant since his bachelor's degree in computer science in 2008.
