Celine Reust (born April 9, 1997 in Uster ) is a Swiss table tennis player .
Life
Celine Reust grew up in Volketswil in the canton of Zurich .
In 2010 Reust won her first national title. At the Swiss U13 championship she won the singles title and was also successful in doubles. In 2012 she played at TTC Uster , then went to ESV Weil am Rhein . For two seasons she then moved to France in the Nationale 1, the second highest league, for CTT Nîmes. In 2018 she returned to Switzerland to the TTC Uster, with which she immediately made it to the National League A.
Her first big success was the victory at the French Open 2013 against the reigning U15 European champion Alena Lemmer . She has been in the senior national team of Switzerland since 2015. She attracted attention in 2016 in the European team qualification by beating the Spaniard Sara Ramirez (world ranking 116). At the Swiss Championship 2018 in Neuchâtel she celebrated her first title in the elite alongside Salomé Simonet . She was with the national team at 3 European and World Championships.
