Celine Roscheck

Celine Roscheck (also Roschek , born August 16, 1983 in Bregenz , Vorarlberg ) is an Austrian musician and model . She was Miss Austria in 2002 .

Celine Roscheck is the daughter of the double bass player Christian Roscheck, who played with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra . Celine has been playing the violin since she was 4 years old. Her Swiss mother is also a violinist . She attended the conservatory as a music student , where she mainly studied violin playing. In 2000 she was a prizewinner in the youth music competition Prima la musica . She made her solo debut in 2002 with the performance of Concerto No. 2 by Henryk Wieniawski . Roscheck presented her first solo album, Electro String , in August 2011.

On February 12, 2016 she took part in the Austrian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 .

Model career

In 1999, Roscheck began working as a model at the age of 16. In April 2002 she was elected Miss Austria . In January 2006 Roscheck took part in the casting show Germany's Next Top Model , where she qualified for the round of the last twelve from among more than 11,000 applicants. She left the competition voluntarily. As the main reason, she cited the conditions that the participating models were exposed to in her opinion. Celine Roscheck also took part in the Miss Switzerland 2008 election.
