The C3 library for development policy is a publicly accessible scientific and educational specialist library on the topics of international development , women , gender and global learning in the C3 - Center for International Development in Vienna . It was founded in 2009 by the three supporting organizations, the Austrian Research Foundation for International Development , BAOBAB and Women * Solidarity.

Duration
The inventory includes over 70,000 printed books and brochures, approx. 30,000 e-books , 100 current print magazines , approx. 600 e-journals , an archive inventory of approx. 1,000 magazine titles as well as 5,000 didactic media and over 1,000 films. The inventory includes the following media:
- Scientific literature, reports, posters, brochures and materials from national and international organizations and NGOs
- International development policy and feminist journals (scientific journals, magazines, information sheets)
- Didactic media and games
- Austrian university publications
- Feature films and documentaries, CDs
- Fiction
- Children's and young people's literature
- Daily and weekly newspapers
Usage and Services
Use of the on-site library is free. Most of the media can be borrowed, but a fee-based loan card is required. Further offers are content-related advice, library tours, research training and workshops, work and research areas, two group work rooms and thematically relevant events. There is support for schoolchildren and teachers in the area of pre-academic work .
