CD93 (synonym Complement component C1q receptor ) is a surface protein from the group of complement receptors .
properties
CD93 is mainly produced by endothelial cells , platelets and myeloid cells (such as monocytes and neutrophils ), but not by lymphoid cells. CD93 is the receptor for C1q , MBL 2 and surfactant protein A . CD93 is believed to be involved in cell adhesion . After binding soluble collagens , it increases the phagocytosis of monocytes and macrophages . CD93 is glycosylated and phosphorylated .
