Cameron John "CJ" Adams (born April 6, 2000 in Rhode Island ) is an American actor.

Life

Adams was born on April 6, 2000 in Rhode Island to Donna and Matt Adams. His father is a writer and golf expert for the New York Times , and he also hosts a radio show on SiriusXM . His mother sings in a choir, and his older brother Austin performed in a regional theater for many years. CJ Adams himself was originally not interested in acting, but was convinced by his brother that it would make him “appear on DVD”. Adams played his first role in 2007 in Peter Hedge's film Dan - Mitten im Leben! . Also directed by Hedges, Adams starred in The Wonderful Life of Timothy Green in 2012. For this role he was nominated for the Saturn Award 2013 for Best Young Actor and in the same year won the Young Artist Award in the category Best Actor in a Feature Film - Ten Years or Younger .
