CS-25

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The CS-25 is a construction regulation issued by EASA on the type approval for large aircraft ("Certification Specifications for Large Airplanes").

This CS applies to large, turbine-powered aircraft. There is no explicit limitation of the aircraft mass (CS 25.1).

It describes the minimum requirements that must be met for the approval (certification) of an aircraft of this class. If the aircraft manufacturer has sufficiently proven all points, the licensing authority issues a type certificate .
