Building regulation
Building regulations , engl. Certification Specification (CS) is a designation in German aviation law for the requirements that are placed on an aircraft by the licensing authorities. Alternative names are airworthiness requirement and certification requirement .
Depending on the type of aircraft, binding specifications were issued which are defined in the Air Traffic Licensing Regulations (LuftVZO) of the Federal Republic of Germany . In Germany, the type certificate is issued by the Federal Aviation Office or the European Aviation Safety Agency .
Common types of aeronautical equipment are the categories of "passenger transport aircraft", "glider", "aeronautical equipment for general aviation, aerobatics and feeders" and others. There are also specific building regulations for drives such as propeller drives.
The state building regulations often contain authorizations to the municipalities to issue local building regulations ( statutes ) for building design , for example on special requirements for the external design of structures for the preservation and design of the townscape.
